Ha. One person’s affable is another person’s creepy.
I’m not sure if Az mentioned it, but the kids were directly instructed to “cultivate an affable persona” (not my words). So, I thought, what they hey, I should make one. I’ve been trying to programme in some speech bubbles.
Like: “I really liked your paper, [insert name]. I particularly liked the way you drew out the complexities, ironic subversions, the rich aporetic terrain of [insert some dodgy shit].”
But, even that doesn’t come over all that affable, really.
Though, I have to say, it was kind of creepy. The whole tendency toward indifference produces , mostly I think, disassociation.
I think all of 3 cents is going to pay fees at the Australian International University - which, if you haven’t come across as yet, please do take a moment to tour their website. Really.
Or, this, which is not quite as funny, but nevertheless excellent.

Is the CultStud Affable Persona just as creepy in person, or is that a result of the Legotization?
